Dublin, Ohio Realtor Nathan White
I live in New California in Jerome Township, right where Plain City and Dublin run into each other, so west Dublin is my backyard. I've sold real estate since 2014, more than 500 homes so far, and in 2026 RealTrends verified me as the #1 agent in neighboring Plain City by volume and sides.
The west side is where Dublin is still growing, out along Hyland Croy Road and around Glacier Ridge Metro Park. These are the neighborhoods I know best.
The neighborhoods, the way I'd explain them
Hyland Glen is the newest of the group and the closest to my house. It's M/I Homes' community off Post Road and Hyland Croy near US 33, in Union County and Dublin City Schools. The plans are two story homes with 4 to 5 bedrooms, and full basements come standard.
Oak Park sits between the north and south ends of Glacier Ridge Metro Park, across the road from Dublin Jerome High School. The architecture leans European, and Kenric Fine Homes does custom builds here, including ranch plans for anyone who wants less upkeep. There's a clubhouse with a fitness center and green space around a pond.
Tartan Ridge was planned for about 270 homes on 189 acres across Hyland Croy from Glacier Ridge, in Union County. Curved boulevards and brick sidewalks give some streets a village feel. The newer section, The Overlook at Tartan Ridge, is single family homes with paths that tie into the greenspace and the multi use path along Hyland Croy and McKitrick. Romanelli and Hughes is building there.
Ballantrae is more established than the others, so you're usually buying from a homeowner instead of a builder. The centerpiece is Ballantrae Park, about 25 acres on Woerner Temple Road, with spray fountains in the summer and the Dancing Hares sculpture up on the hill.
Riviera was built on the old Riviera golf course on Avery Road, which closed after the 2014 season. M/I Homes built there, and the Enclave at Riviera section has single story condo plans. It sits farther south toward Avery and Brand, still a quick drive from the rest of this list.
Builder prices move every week, so I don't list them here. Ask me and I'll tell you what each one is actually running today, and what's included at that price.
Two things nobody tells you
A Dublin address doesn't guarantee Dublin. The city spans three counties, Franklin, Delaware, and Union, and the school district lines don't match the city lines. Some homes with Plain City addresses are in Dublin City Schools, and some Dublin addresses aren't. I check every house by parcel.
City limits change your taxes. Inside Dublin, you pay Dublin's city income tax. A Dublin mailing address out in a township may not, and the property tax rate changes with the county. I'll pull the real numbers before you write an offer.

Dublin FAQ
What county is Dublin, Ohio in?
Three of them: Franklin, Delaware, and Union. The newer west side neighborhoods along Hyland Croy, like Tartan Ridge and Hyland Glen, are in Union County. The county changes your property tax rate, so it's worth knowing before you compare two houses.
What school district is Dublin in?
Most of the city is in Dublin City Schools, but the district lines and the city lines don't match. Some Dublin addresses fall in other districts, and some Plain City addresses are in Dublin City Schools. I verify the district by parcel on every house I show.
Is Jerome Village in Dublin?
No, it's in Jerome Township with Plain City addresses, but it's served by Dublin City Schools. It's on my Plain City page with the rest of the township.
Do I need my own agent for new construction in Dublin?
You should have one. The sales rep at Hyland Glen or Tartan Ridge works for the builder. Your agent negotiates price, upgrades, and the contract for you, and many builders want your agent there on your first visit, so call me before you tour.
How far is west Dublin from downtown Columbus?
About 20 to 25 minutes on US 33 or I 270, depending on traffic and where you start. Marysville is about 20 minutes the other way.
Do you only work in Dublin?
No. I live in Jerome Township, and I also sell in Plain City, Marysville, Delaware, and Columbus. If you're comparing towns along 33, I'll walk you through how they stack up.
